How we started
Magnetize was founded in 2019 by James Bryce Smith with the mission to help B2B companies turn sustainability into a competitive advantage.
Ultimately, we envision a future where the top selling brands are the most sustainable brands - and we want to help you get there.
25 years in the game
As a marketing director and agency leader, James has helped many international B2B companies attract clients and grow.
Big companies like Maersk, FLSmidth, Novo Nordisk, DFDS, Amphenol and Novozymes - as well as SMEs like Fossflakes, Lactosan, Leiber and Expanite.
Focus on sustainability
As a scuba diver since the 1990s, James has witnessed first-hand the decline of the natural world. Where once there were beautiful corals alive with fish, now there are grey piles of rubble.
This experience motivated James to help solve the environmental problems the world faces.
In 2018 he took an MBA focusing on sustainability at Copenhagen Business School and has prioritised sustainability ever since.
